2Ch 26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
King Uzziah discovered a great truth at the age of sixteen concerning prosperity and it was that God would prosper him so long as he sought after him and he reigned 52 years. Unfortunately in his latter years he suffered leprosy and loss of his right to rule and reign. It was because he was not able to handle his fame and was lifted into pride and trespassed against the house of God that all was lost. This is recorded that we might have a warning to not fall into the same destruction. The blessings of King Uzziah are recorded through this passage and are as follows. [2Chr. 26:3-21]
1. He had ability to breakthrough fortified walls and places of resistance that the enemy constructed. This is a breakthrough anointing from seeking God. 2. He had the ability to build where the enemy once occupied. He constructed great towers. 3. He had the ability to increase in produce and live stock. This was prosperity against lack and the anointing to yield increase. 4. He had the ability and influence to create unity among warriors. This was an anointing to have others flow in the vision and gain accomplishment. 5. He had protective provision against his enemies attacks to defend against defeat. 6. He had a wisdom to invent what was needed in machinery and profit from its effectiveness.
Comment! God is no respecter of persons set yourself to seek God and declare boldly that He will cause you to prosper.
