In this new year of 2007 we need to hear what God is saying through His Spirit to the churches. I have been hearing at the close of 2006 that we are to “Expand Gods Glory & Anointing!” Are you ready? Ready to expand the presence of God in your life. The scriptures declare that Gods Glory will fill the earth. I believe that this is the time to expand that Glory in greater measure. What does it mean to expand? Well, Webster’s 1828 dictionary says it this way. “ to open or spread; Eng. span. The primary sense is to strain or stretch,” God is saying something by His Spirit to us in this year. It is that He will open up and spread out over our lives. God is desiring to cover us in his Glory and anointing. He is also saying that we need to believe God for his expansion. We need to believe God in such a way that we feel we are straining God and stretching his abilities through our faith. one of the meanings of expanding is to open. Look at this verse in “Isaiah 41:17-19 (Amplified Bible) 17 The poor and needy are seeking water when there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst.

I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the wild olive; I will set the cypress in the desert, the plane [tree] and the pine [tree] together,
Well this certainly sounds like God will expand His goodness to me. Look at another passage given to us by God. Remember the scripture states that God changes not. Isaiah 45
1 This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, whom He has chosen, whose right hand He has held, "I send him to put nations under his power, and to take away the power of kings. And I will open doors in front of him so that gates will not be shut. 2 I will go before you and make the hard places smooth. I will break the brass doors to pieces, and cut through their iron gates.
