Wow! This can be a tough one for anyone growing up. It is called the age barrier. But, before you get to hard on the parent or parents lets stop and ask the question? Has my parents showed love toward me in the past? Does your memory of earlier years have joy or happiness? Just trying to establish if the parents really deserve anger from you or just understanding. Only you can answer that. Okay assuming that they love you and just want what is best perhaps they do not know how to explain their selves to you or why they are not agreeing with you. It is a little difficult to answer this question without knowing a little bit of what it is they are not understanding. It could be anything from an age issue to an experience issue they or you are dealing with. The second point I would like to make here is that you as a teen are going through some changes of development as well. Understanding comes from two basic areas.
1. A hearing ear that comes from a loving heart. 2. From adequate information.
Check these two areas first. Remember their is one who always understands and that is the Lord Jesus.
New Living Translation Though good advice lies deep within the heart, a person with understanding will draw it out. Proverbs 20:4-6 (in Context) Proverbs 20 (Whole Chapter)
Amplified Bible Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation], Proverbs 24:2-4 (in Context) Proverbs 24 (Whole Chapter)
